  • Do I need experience?
    No. The client opportunity will provide comprehensive training.
  • Will taxes be deducted from my pay?
    No. You will be an Independent Contractor. You will receive a 1099 if you make more than $600.
  • Are there any costs to begin working?
    You will need a laptop or desktop, USB headset, and hardwired internet. A landline phone is optional. You will need to pay for a background check which is $30. The background check is valid for 36 months. You will also need to pay a class confirmation deposit which is $20. The deposit is refundable - as long as the agent attends certification on day 1 and stay for the duration of class.
  • What is the class confirmation deposit and when can it be paid?
    7 days prior to the start of the certification class you are enrolled in, you will be prompted to pay a $20.00 class confirmation deposit. You will have 48 hours to pay this deposit, or you will be dropped from the class. This deposit will be refunded to you (to the original form of payment) when you attend the entire first day of class. If you un-enroll from the opportunity less than seven days prior to the start of the certification course, you will not receive a refund.
  • When will I receive my refund of the class confirmation deposit?
    1-2 days after you attend the entire first day of class, your refund will be processed to the original form of payment. You can expect to receive it within 7-10 days.
  • Can I live anywhere for this opportunity?
    No. Currently, we are not accepting applications for the following states: California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, District of Columbia, and Wisconsin.
  • Is there an age restriction?
    Yes. You MUST BE 18 years of age or older for this opportunity.
  • How much will I be paid?
    It depends on the client that you choose to service. Base pay is $10-$20.
  • Is there a certain number of hours I have to work and can I make my own schedule?
    Yes. You must be able to work 15 hours a week. If you are working a max client, you must work 30 hours a week. Some clients have a minimum weekend requirement as well. Yes you will be able to make your own schedule. Please be sure to read the opportunity announcement. It'll outline special servicing hours/days.
  • What are the primary duties of a call center agent/independent contractor?
    The primary duty of a call center agent/independent contractor is to handle inbound calls. There are some client opportunities that are outbound calling or chat based. However, certification classes fill quickly for those opportunities. Be sure to check the board daily.
